The founder was exposed to community, business, policy and government relations since she was six years of age, through her father and mother's entrepreneurial and civic oriented endeavors, in rural South Carolina.  She recognized up close and personally, the criticality of thoughtful engagement, collaboration, detailed research, informed decision making and analysis, and perseverance in all pursuits-- while never losing sight of the community.
